Thank You for Smoking...

Why, I'm asking myself, why is it that people always have to tell us what's good for us? Why do they have to protect us from ourselves? And who are THEY?

go hereWe have to smoke more - or less ... up to you. We don't have to queue up for a better life. We have to drink more red wine!

And! enjoy it!

Not too long ago, I read an article about health issues. The editor was very accurate in writing down little figures, followed by a % sign, telling how the consumption of certain substances might reduce your life span - and how certain habits might help us growing older ... all neatly calculated down to a tenth of a percent.

After finishing the article, it appeared to me that the number of years we live is much more important than how we live all these years.

What is it all about? Is it good to live long? Does it help? Is a long life a good life? Is it worth to stay until the end of the party - or isn't it sometimes nice to ride fast and leave early?

Who ever knows the answer, step forward. The only thing I know is that it's much more fun to have fun... Ups! I'm looking forward to a bottle of red, red wine - and a cigar, if you don't mind ;-)

Size matters - that's what we know. Does it matter how long we last? Do we last at all? Look at me! I might last 3.4% longer. So, come on, let's dance! And! save your last dance for me!
